The AXUM™  Project

Longterm market studies showed a remarkable need for  fast powerboats in the length between 40 and 57 feet.

The usability of these boats should be in the sectors „workboat“, „patrol boat“, „ daycruiser“ and „tender“.v

The AXUM boats have a flush foredeck and a flush aft deck, a cabin with berths for 2, headroom, galley and – the world's innovation – a liftable flybridge („AXUM FLY-LIFT™“).

This liftable flybridge allows not only a convertible height above water for passages of low bridges but provides for handicapped users a comfortable living on the boat, too.

One of the standards of the boat will be a crane – either for repair works of tons etc. or for watertoys.

At the stern a loading door can be converted into a platform for the access to the water (for divers etc.).

The powertrain can vary between 2 x 300 hp and 2 x 627 hp.According to the simplification strategy and a free vast aft deck the engines are mounted outboards.

Actual demands for this type of boat show that the start of this project should be with a 48 feet boat.

For this first AXUM type the hull is already produced in Germany with remarkable accuracy of production (tolerances less than 1 mm on the whole length).
